Your donation of a $2 or a can of cat/kitten food would be a great help to our shelter.

Did you know that you are allowed to bring a small reading chair, pillow, cushion, blanket. You will be sitting with your reading buddy!

Rules of the Reading Program: 1. Please use quiet voices and calm movements when in the shelter. 2. Please do not feed the animals in the shelter 3. Be respectful to the volunteers and staff 4. Enjoy the reading program and have fun with the animal you are reading to.

The reading program is meant to help both individuals with their reading skills AND the animals to socialize.
We ask that those involved in the reading program respect the animals, volunteers, and staff.
If your child needs strict supervision, we ask that a parent, older responsible sibling, grandparent or other suitable person stay with the child during their time at the shelter.
If your child does not follow the rules of the shelter, the child will be removed from the reading program.
