Simcoe and District Humane Society offers extremely limited opportunities for employment, when able to receive government funding for employees.

Summer Jobs are offered through funding by the Canadian Government. The Canada Summer Jobs age criteria is 16-30.

Our volunteer team is small, and we are looking for individuals who can learn quickly, follow policies, procedures, work hard, be available for emergencies and fit into our shelter environment as seamlessly as possible, all while helping the animals.

We are now accepting applications for the 2025 season dependent on Funding from Canada Summer Jobs.
